         2019 Pheasant Release

Windham Gorham Rod and Gun Club had another very successful pheasant release. Thanks Bob Chapin, John Bernard and Bob Weiss for your support. They coordinated the volunteers that showed up. Everybody had a great time. Especially the sons, daughters and grandchildren.

Photo of the food and gifts that we collected for the mother and 8 year old boy that the club "adopted" for the holidays.  In addition to the items you can see, there was a collection of gift cards from Hannaford, Books A Million, and Wal Mart.

The ladies at the Gorham Town Clerk's office were beside themselves with the generosity of our small club, and the amount of great things we put together in a short time.

Great job WGRGC, and Merry Christmas!

Youth Activities: We understand that the future of our club as well as the stewardship of the natural resources we care about will eventually fall to the hands of today’s youth. Therefore, we make an effort to encourage our youth members to participate in as many of our activities as possible. Additionally, we lead and participate in as many youth-focused activities outside the Club as our members can support. Specific examples follow. If you know of an activity that we can do to support today’s youth please bring it to the attention of the Club leadership.
