FACILITIES
The Club maintains a two-story club house at 8 Tow Path Road in Gorham with parking for 50+ vehicles. It was built by charter members and completed in 1956. It had remained relatively unchanged until 2013 when some of the upstairs meeting space was converted to an ADA-compliant unisex bathroom and an office. The hall is certified by the fire marshal for gatherings up to 75 people. It includes a large first floor meeting room and a basement which contains a kitchen with small pantry, men and women’s bathroom facilities, a small open storage area and our indoor range. The hall is available to members at no charge when not being used for club meetings. It can be used for receptions, card parties, birthday celebrations and meetings etc. on a one-time basis. Members needing recurring, regularly scheduled, personal use may incur a small fee to offset added heating costs and maintenance.

Hall Rental (Proposed)
The hall is available for rental for a nominal fee (typically $125/day) to the public and to Club members for commercial (meaning revenue generating activities) at a negotiated fee. Any closure of the Club for a special event must be balanced against the need for access by all other members. The range is not included in normal hall rentals. The range will be locked and inaccessible during all rental periods unless special authorization is received such as for firearms training. Short term and infrequent non-commercial use by members is generally acceptable and at no cost to paid up members.
All requests for Club house use should be made to Chris Clark (315 212-0305) at least 1 week in advance of the event but preferably 3 weeks in advance. All requests should include the name of the requestor and contact info; date and times requested; number of people anticipated; principle activities to be conducted; and, the name and contact info for the person who will be present and responsible for the group during all activity. Upon receipt of a request for use of the hall, Bob L. will deconflict the request with prior scheduled events then send an email with the appropriate details and his recommendation to all other Board members for a vote within three days. No response from Board members within three days equals assent. Board members with questions should hit ‘reply all’ and state their question for resolution by Chris Clark. A simple majority decides the issue. Results will be communicated by Chris. to the requesting party ASAP and to Hank Snowman for posting on the web page. Approved requests will include instructions on parking, building access, furnace control, opening and closing procedures, kitchen and AV equipment use, chair and table arrangements, and trash removal.
Range:
Sales Trailer
The Club owns a converted 14-foot sales trailer that is used to support our participation in community events. It is currently configured to facilitate the games of chance we run at the Cumberland County Fair and for the Kids Ice Fishing Derbies. It has a couple of Club logos on the exterior walls. Portable electric lighting and heating help keep it comfortable in most conditions. The trailer is available to members for personal use when not in Club use. A suitably large tow vehicle with a 2” tow ball hitch and a flat four-wire connector will move it legally over Maine roads. It is licensed, registered, and insured by the Club.
